About Us
Celebrating Korean-American Komerican life and the immigrant experience with defiant joy since January 2024. Made with heART.
In 2023, Sarah canceled her debut book deal with an international publisher to take a chance on creating new channels for media and representation. Komerican Pie started as a weekly webzine on Substack and has grown to offer a more “touch and feel” experience every season in January (winter), April (spring), July (summer) and Sept/Oct (fall):
A 40-page printed zine in full color and filled with original words, art and musings by amazing creators (digital edition available, too!)
The “KP Care Package” filled with cozy items to bring comfort and joy every season
Events of all kinds to bring generational immigrant community across the U.S.
