About Us
Celebrating the American immigrant experience with defiant joy. Making heART since 2024.
In 2023, Sarah canceled her debut book deal with an international publisher to take a chance on creating new channels of media and representation. Komerican Pie started in January 2024 as a weekly webzine on Substack with founding contributor Aram Kim.
Today, we offer a quarterly 40-page printed zine, a digital edition to read online, and real-life and virtual events to build community every season of the year.
Born of Korean heritage. As American as apple pie. Welcome to Komerican Pie.
