The Inspiration

At Komerican Pie, we recognize the power of food as a love language, vehicle for connection and a universal human bond - we all gotta eat! In April 2025, Komerican Pie put out a national Call for Artists to participate in its first-ever “comfort food” art calendar project. We received a bountiful response from beautiful artists across the country who helped make this calendar with heART! You can flip through the calendar below.

This inspired us to celebrate artists without the fleeting nature of time, so we’re holding a zine and print sale in November for delicious and comforting works of art to stay on the walls all year long. The “Food is Love” Sale will be just in time for foodie holiday gift giving!
